Bible verses are by far the most commonly used wedding verses. Most of the time people will be married in a church, and they view the right of marriage as a religious institution. This is why the bible is often looked to as a source of inspiration for wedding verses. If you are getting nervous because you are not familiar with the bible at all, then there is no reason for you to fret. All you have to do is find a bible, and then flip to the back to the index. In the index you will see a list of terms, amongst which you will find the words love, marriage, happiness and all sorts of other words that can be related to marriage in some way.

Now all you have to do is read through them all, and then pick which ones you believe would suit your relationship best. If you do not want to pick one, or you are unsure which would be the best for your marriage, then you can simply ask the reverend ,or whoever is the ceremony leader to pick a couple of verses for you. Usually the clergy will suggest that you pick a couple of verses yourself, unless you make it a point to tell the reverend that you have specific verses in mind beforehand.
